The Managing Partner of the firm Kate Kelly trained through the Institute of Chartered Accountants between 1995 and 2000 and became an Associate Member in 2001.

Kate trained with a small firm of Accountants in Dublin 2 and learned the fundamentals of her profession in a 'hands on' environment. By the end of her training contract Kate was responsible for all aspects of the accounting function, producing and returning Income tax and Corporation tax returns and finalising accounts with clients.

Kate then moved to BDO Simpson Xavier which is recognised as one of the largest accounting organisations in Ireland.  Here she was quickly promoted to Audit Senior and took over the management of a distinguished client list.  In her years with this firm Kate developed her management and communication skills and broadened her knowledge of audit and accounting standards.

At this point Kate sought a new challenge and decided the time was right to move in to Industry. She took up a position as Financial Controller of a large family-run hotel in Co. Kildare. In this job she was responsible for all aspects of the financial function.

In 2005 Kate and her family returned to her home in Kerry, where she has since been providing accountancy services to clients in the North Kerry region.
